Hi, my name is Dmitry Frolov, founder of ‘ARTISHOK’.
Recently I’ve launched my newest collection. I’m using old craftsmanship which is mixed with contemporary trends and the new technology.
I’m based in the Latvia. I find my inspiration in combinations of light and color, special moments in daily life and the beauty of nature.
My awareness of natural life cycles – growth, decay, evolution and rebirth – provides information that is translated onto artworks.
Through mindful exploration of my surrounding environment at a macro and micro level, I aim to map a moment in time within the evolutionary cycle of life. Ultimately, I attempt to create paintings that open up a world of possibility in the observer.
